| On Monday, October 6, 2025, members of the Southwest Greensburg Volunteer Fire Department joined students and staff at Hutchinson Elementary School for our annual Fire Prevention Week presentation.
The event provided an interactive and educational experience for students, emphasizing the importance of fire safety, emergency preparedness, and understanding the role of first responders in the community.
Students had the opportunity to meet local emergency personnel and learn about their equipment and duties through live demonstrations and presentations from:

The presentation featured hands-on learning opportunities, including discussions on home escape planning, smoke alarm safety, and the importance of calling 911 in an emergency.
