Last night around 10:30 PM, our crews were dispatched to Harrison Avenue in the City of Greensburg for a reported house fire. While responding, units were advised the incident had been upgraded to a working fire.

Truck 24 arrived and was assigned to the front (Alpha) side of the structure. Crews made entry to conduct a primary search and locate the fire, which had extended into the walls and attic space.

Operations were split between interior and exterior crews. Interior crews worked on the second floor, opening walls and ceilings to locate hidden fire. Exterior crews deployed ground ladders and set up the aerial to access the roof for ventilation.

Crews encountered fire in the walls on the second floor and worked to track it into the attic. After locating the attic space, crews were able to access it and extinguish the remaining fire.

Rescue Pumper 24 personnel supported operations throughout the incident, assisting with interior work, laddering, and fire attack support.
