Mutual Aid Response – Apartment Fire in City of Greensburg

Station 24 was dispatched to the City of Greensburg to assist the City of Greensburg Fire Department on an automatic fire alarm. While units were responding, the incident was upgraded to a working apartment fire.

Chief 79 arrived on scene and confirmed a fire within an apartment unit.

Upon arrival, Truck 24 personnel split assignments and assisted with primary search operations and checking for fire extension. Crews then supported suppression efforts by operating off the initial attack line and assisting with extinguishment and overhaul.

Rescue Pumper 24 personnel assisted with fireground operations as assigned.

The fire was brought under control through the coordinated efforts of all responding agencies. There were no reported injuries to firefighters.
