| The Southwest Greensburg Fire Department mourns the loss of Glenn “Bimzy” A. Thomas, a dedicated life member, former Assistant Chief, and past President of our department.
Bimzy served our community with pride for many years and was a valued part of the SWG family. His leadership, commitment, and the friendships he built here will always be remembered. In his younger years, he was an active member of our department softball team and was known for his easy going personality and willingness to help wherever he was needed.
Above all, Bimzy was a devoted father who cherished the time spent with his son, Evan.
We extend our deepest condolences to Evan and the entire Thomas family. We are grateful for Bimzy’s years of service and the lasting impact he made on our department and on Southwest Greensburg.
