| Members of the Southwest Greensburg Fire Department and the South Greensburg Fire Department participated in Crash Course Villages training on New Technologies & Alternative Fuel Vehicles, held at our headquarters.
This hands-on course provided valuable insight into the identification of alternate fuel vehicles and buses, power-down and fuel shut-off procedures, and the unique hazards these vehicles present during emergency operations.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Delaney Chevrolet and Smail Auto Group for supplying the vehicles used during the hands-on portion of the training. Their partnership made this session a tremendous success and gave our members the opportunity to gain real-world experience with alternative fuel systems. |
