Station 24 and the first alarm were activated for a reported house fire on the 800 block of Welty Street. Engine 24-1 arrived and found nothing showing on the block. The homeowner on Welty was unaware of any call.

Engine 24-1 responded to a report of a tree down on Rt 30 Westbound at the Rt 119 on ramp in the Borough. The Engine crew found a small limb on the roadway. The Lieutenant removed the tree, and the Engine returned in service.

Engine 24-1 responded to a residence on the 600 block of Cribbs St in the Borough to assist EMS with lifting. The Engine removed the patient and cleared the scene in 20 minutes.

A walk in to station reported a porch fire on Chestnut St. Engine 24-2 handled the call and found that someone had set a book on fire on the front porch. Extinguished was handled with a water can and units cleared in under 20 minutes.

Salvage 24 responded to a report of a residential flooding along the 600 Block of Sidney St in the Borough at 3:05 this morning. The Salvage crew assisted the homeowner with water removal from the residence.

Another summer storm dumped a large amount of rain in a short amount of time on the Borough this afternoon. The storm also produced numerous lightning strikes in the area. The company received 4 calls in 8 minutes shortly after 5:00 PM.
