Just over 3 hours after being placed in service, Truck 24 got dispatched on its first run. The station got activated for an automatic fire alarm on the 500 block of Sidney Street. The Truck went in service with 6 and arrived first due with nothing showing.

At 05:09 this morning the station was dispatched for a reported apartment fire at the Sunny Terrace Apartments in Youngwood Borough. Engine 24-1 went enroute with a crew of 6 and Engine 24-2 followed a few minutes behind with a crew of 4, Engine 24-1 arrived as the third due unit.

24 Pumper 1 responded with a crew of 6 to the lot of the China King for a 20 month old child unresponsive. Pumper 1 pulled on scene at the same time as Mutual Aid and assisted the EMS crew.

At 21:15 the station was dispatched to assist Mutual Aid EMS on the 500 block of Green Street with extrication of a patient from a residence. Engine 24-1 arrived with a crew of 3 and found EMS working a male patient in cardiac arrest.

At 16:01 Engine 24-1 was dispatched on the fill to 314 Bridlewood Drive to assist Engine 96 (West Point) with a smell of natural gas in a residence. Shortly after dispatched Bridlewood Dr command cancelled all units except Engine 96.

At 15:05 the station was dispatched for a fire alarm activated in the building, Engine 24-2 went enroute with a crew of 4. Prior to arrival of Engine 24-2, Engine 32 (South Greensburg) arrived with nothing showing and requested the next due engine to come straight in behind them.

At 14:16 the station along with Rescue 32 was activated for a reported vehicle accident on the on ramp to Rt 30 Eastbound. Rescue Pumper 24 went enroute with a crew of 4, upon arrival the rescue pumper found 2 vehicles at the top of the on ramp with minor damage and off the side of the road.

At 09:08 the station was dispatched to assist Station 32 (South Greensburg) with a report of natural gas smell in the building. Engine 24-1 went enroute with a crew of 5, arrived and was given orders to send a crew to the opposite end of the building to check for the odor.

At 20:17 the first alarm assignments were dispatched to assist Station 28 (Mid-Way St. Clair) for a report of smoke on the 6th floor of the high-rise. Engine 24-1 went enroute with a crew of 6, upon arrival Chief 28 gave the engine orders to hold the hydrant and to send the crew to the 6th floor.
